Kumari Shilpa is 10+2 qualified who could not pursue her further education because of the unfavorable economic conditions. Kumari Shilpa already faced extreme financial hardships. The entire responsibility of the family wad on her as she lost her father.

She did a course in beauty parlor. She came to know about HBCFDC, Kangra and that H.P.Govt. is extending  loan to those who are unemployed enabling them to setup their own independent units. Accordingly, she applied for a loan which was granted to her on 14.7.2004 and now she is successfully running her parlor.
         Apart from this now, she has also employed several unemployed women and also imparting training to  other women who are interested in learning this trade.
